Doctorate in Sciences in Ecology and Sustainable Development by El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR, 2013), Chiapas, Mexico. Post-doctorate at the Regional Center for Multidisciplinary Investigations (CRIM) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM, 2015), Mexico. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Amazon Institute of Family Farms at the Federal University of Pará. He is an associate editor of the Journal Etnobiología (ISSN: 1665-2703). He has experience in teaching, extension and research, in an interdisciplinary area, in the following subjects: a) Ethnobiology and Ethnoecology; b) Society - Nature (s) Relations; c) Use, management and conservation of wild fauna. Anthropologist and psychologist, she has a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), Master’s in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), Doctorate in Social Anthropology from the Social Anthropology Graduate Program (PPGAS) from the National Museum of the University Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), working at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FCS), in the Anthropology Graduate Program (PPGA) in the Amazonian Agriculture Graduate Program, from INEAF. She works in the research group Cidade, Aldeia e Patrimônio (vice-leader) and in the Research Laboratory on Ethnicity, Culture and Development (LACED – National Museum/ UFRJ). Works on issues related to indigenous peoples and traditional populations; social mobilizations in the Amazon; social and environmental conflicts, especially in the Upper and Middle Rio Solimões (AM), Upper Rio Negro (AM) and Lower Amazonas (PA) areas. He has experience in the management and development of social projects that include community actions, popular organizations and the formation of leaders both in the urban world and in rural areas.

He holds a doctorate in Agro-economics from Faculté des sciences agronomiques de Gembloux (2000). He is a researcher at the Center de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (CIRAD) and is currently a researcher and professor at the Federal University of Para, Belém / PA at the Center for Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development and a visiting researcher at Embrapa / Cpatu. He has experience in the geography area, acting mainly on the following themes: territorial dynamics, public policies, learning, innovation process, territorial development, consultation and participation processes, governance, project monitoring methodology and participatory and planning methodologies for the local and / or territorial development. He has more than 120 publications on these subjects. He is responsible for the platform in partnership with DP Amazônia (Embrapa, UFPA, Cirad).

PhD in Agroecosystems, in the area of Sustainable Rural Development, from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC / PPGA), with a Doctorate Sandwich Internship at Unité Mixte de Recherche - Acteurs, ressources et territoires dans le développement (ARTDev) - Université de Montpellier 3 - France. Post-Doctor also in the area of Sustainable Rural Development by UFSC / PPGA. He holds a master's degree from the Graduate Program in Rural Development - PGDR from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2011) and a degree in Agronomy from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) Julio de Mesquita Filho (2008). She is currently a researcher at the Laboratory for the Study of Agricultural and Territory Multifunctionality (LEMATE), the Study Group on the Diversity of Family Farming (GEDAF) and Leader of the Research Group on Rural Development and Sociotechnical Innovation (DRIS). The main themes of work and research are diversity of knowledge related to the use of biodiversity, rural development, family farming, associations and cooperatives and technologies and social innovations.
